The words we choose can shape who we become.
I’ve spent much of my life thinking about words.
As an educator with a PhD in Language & Literacy, I explored how language shapes the way we see ourselves and the world. As a novelist, I’ve spent years using words to make people feel something. And as an entrepreneur, I’ve discovered that sometimes the most meaningful ideas are the ones we keep coming back to.
That’s how In Other Words… began.
I believe words can give us courage, help us embrace change, celebrate who we’ve become and remind us of what’s possible. Sometimes a few words stay with us so deeply that they become part of how we live.
With experience designing small, intimate workshops to addressing an audience of hundreds, I’ve learned that the right words can reach every person in the room.
Have an event or conversation in mind?
I’d love to hear from you.
